Evaluation Question 2

The characters from attack the block represent our social group because they are wearing standard cloths teenagers would may wear when out on the street for example hoodies and and hats, this is a stereotype to black youths in London which we have followed. This relation would appeal to young people who live in London because its the environment they live in and the characters in our films go through everyday events which youths in London would experience. The colours the characters in our film are wearing mainly, dark this helps to show the time of year as people wear dark cloths in the winter and helps to present the correcety mise-en-scene. A difference between the characters in my film compared to attack the block is: our characters are wearing their cloths like a normal teen however the characters in attack the block are dressed as vandals who are about to do some type of crime.

Instead of sticking to the stereo type of it being a group of girls who get attacked at the beginning of a horrror film our attacker is attacking a masculine group of young menwe have done this to show a group of men are jus as vulnerable as a group of women. One of our characters isn't as brave as the other two characters as he is spooked out by the story of the man and his house and doesn't want to go inside, this tends to happen quite frequently in horror films because the is usaully on person who thinks what they are doing is a bad idea but ends up following the others and dieing anyway. In attack the block as you can see from the picture on the left the character in the middle has the most power within the group because he is standing in the middle and throughout the film th other characters tend to follow his lead.
